Volunteering midst a glamorous, historical venue

The Orpheum Theatre is calling all individuals and groups that are looking for an unforgettable experience and opportunity to volunteer as ushers.

Our volunteers are the primary hosts for the events at the Orpheum Theatre and represent excellent and responsive guest services. Volunteer duties include greeting and handing out printed programs to attendees, escorting patrons to their seats, providing directions, and answering facility questions.

Members usher at theatre performances and work as trained docents to conduct complimentary guided tours of the theatre.

A non-profit organization called Friends of the Orpheum Theatre provides educational and restoration support through its fundraising programs. In addition, the Friends’ Outreach Program provides theatrical experiences to those who otherwise lack the opportunity.
